Today on the Winter Solstice, December 21st, 2021, Lama Jigme Rinpoche performed a purification of the earth at the new property for the Temple. We also hung up prayer flags (lungta) and a large prayer flagpole along with a smoke offering (sung puja) and prayers.

Lama Jigme Rinpoche was invited to give the initiation ceremony and blessing for the 42nd celebration of this Festival in San Francisco. He gave the transmission of the Sakyamuni Buddha Mantra to all the people present in this ceremony and praised for the message of H.H. the Dalai Lama to be spread all over the world.
As per Lama Jigme Rinpoche, the Japanese tradition and the Tibetan tradition share the same Buddhist root. This was the importance of his presence in this Japanese celebration.
Tsa Lung Trulkor Yoga Workshop
We gathered with Lama Jigme Rinpoche every Saturday for about 2 months, learning about the wind channels and the benefit of cleaning them, according to the Tibetan Medicine Doctrine. He explained in detail the 23 ancient movements of the Tibetan Yoga and it’s importance in our current lives.
On November 7th, 2009, Lama Jigme Rinpoche transmitted the special “Empowerment of the Hayagriwa” at the Bushidokan Martial Arts Temple in Reno, Nevada.
This practice allows the student to gain a deeper understanding of the Tibetan Yoga and the functioning of the wind channels in the body.
It also protects us from the external negative influences and strengthen our mind, our body and our whole self. The Hayagriwa practice is transmitted by the Lama in order to spread peace, love and compassion to all beings.
Over 50 people gathered that Saturday afternoon to receive the teaching from Lama Jigme Rinpoche and appreciate this auspicious opportunity given only on rare occasions. People from all ages and religious beliefs got together to receive this special empowerment!
